FG troches Tablet Suction

COMPOSITION
Each 1 FG troches lozenges contain:

Fradiomycin 2.5 mg

Gramicidin 1.0 mg

 

PHARMACOLOGY / HOW DRUGS
Fradiomycin and Gramicidin is an antibiotic which has bactericidal effect, and is active against staphylococci and streptococci bacteria and have an additive effect.


INDICATIONS

FG troches indications are for:

Treatment of stomatitis or mouth sores caused by bacteria and streptococci Stafilokokkus sensitive fradiomycin and gramicidin, and

Prevention of postoperative infections in the teeth and mouth.



DOSAGE AND METHOD OF GIVING

FG troches doses in general is:

Adult dosage: 1-2 lozenges, 4-5 times a day.

Dose children: 1 lozenges, 4-5 times a day.

Tablet sucked in the mouth until it dissolves (like sweets).

WARNING AND CAUTION
Before using FG troches, should be confirmed beforehand sensitivity of bacteria to prevent the emergence of resistance to antibiotics contained in FG troches. The length of time of drug administration should be limited by the minimum requirements.

Do not take this medicine for more than 1 week.

Discontinue treatment in case of hypersensitivity or allergic reactions.

Careful use of FG troches in the elderly, because of the risk of avitaminosis.



SIDE EFFECTS

Troches FG side effects that may occur are as follows:

Black hairy tongue, oral mucosa is reddish, and glossitis,

Although rare, symptoms can occur such as protrombinemia vitamin K deficiency, and bleeding tendencies. There can also be symptoms of vitamin B deficiency such as glossitis, stomatitis (canker sores), anorexia, and neuritis. These symptoms tend to occur in people with malnutrition and the elderly.



CONTRAINDICATION
FG troches should not be given to patients who are hypersensitive or allergic to components of FG troches, or patients who have a history of allergy to the drug from the class of aminoglycosides such as streptomycin, kanamycin, gentamicin, fradiomisin, or bacitracin.
